20 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
21 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
22 - Salt, to taste
23 - Black pepper, to taste
24 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Add sliced flank steak and toss to coat. Let marinate for 15 to 60 minutes in the refrigerator.
02 - Whisk together barbecue sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and chili powder in a bowl. Set aside.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear marinated steak in a single layer for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to a plate and cover loosely.
04 - Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, then sauté chopped onion and minced garlic for 3 to 4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
05 - Stir in uncooked rice to coat with aromatics. Toast for 1 to 2 minutes. Add beef broth, bring to boil, then cover and simmer 15 to 18 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
06 - Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
07 - Add steak and its juices back to the skillet. Drizzle prepared BBQ sauce and gently toss to combine. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
08 - Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot directly from the skillet.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Marinating the steak ahead enhances flavor and tenderness.
02 - Toasting the rice adds a nutty depth to the dish.
03 - Reheat leftovers gently with extra broth or cream to restore texture.
