Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add chicken breasts and cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and tent with foil.

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, stirring constantly until fragrant and lightly golden.

Add shredded cabbage to the skillet. Stir well to coat with oil and garlic. Sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until softened but still slightly crisp.

Drizzle soy sauce over the cabbage. Stir to deglaze the pan and distribute flavor. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper to taste.
