01 -
Put the grilled tofu on your serving dish. Toss some chopped green onions and a little sesame seed over the top. Dive in while it's still hot, and add some fresh veggies or grains if you want.
02 -
Lift the tofu out of the marinade and let anything extra drip away. Drop the slices on your hot grill, cook about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, and don't forget to flip them (keep an eye out for nice grill lines and crispy edges).
03 -
Warm up your grill or grill pan on medium-high. Brush the top with some oil to stop sticking, and make sure it’s all clean first.
04 -
Cut the tofu into chunky pieces. Lay them in a shallow bowl and cover with the marinade. Pop it in the fridge—at least 30 minutes, but 2 hours gives you big flavor.
05 -
Grab a decent-sized bowl. Mix up the soy sauce, olive oil, gingery bits, smashed garlic, a bit of honey or maple, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Whisk hard until they blend together.
