# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Taco Beef Mix

01 - 60 milliliters beef broth or water
02 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
03 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt or to taste
05 - 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
06 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika
08 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
09 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
10 - 450 grams ground beef
11 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

→ Building Your Tacos

12 - 1 lime, cut into wedges
13 - 60 milliliters sour cream (optional)
14 - 15 grams fresh cilantro, finely chopped
15 - 1 medium red or white onion, diced
16 - 2 medium tomatoes, diced
17 - 120 grams Mexican cheese blend, shredded
18 - 8 small flour tortillas

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Once you've finished everything else, toss together the beef, cheese, tomato, onion, and all your extras on the tortillas. Sour cream and a good squeeze of lime to finish it off. Enjoy!
02 - Put each tortilla straight on the burner for a few seconds to get a nice char, or heat them up one at a time in a dry pan until warm. You can also just follow what it says on the pack if you like.
03 - Add all the seasonings, tomato paste, and broth to your browned beef. Turn the heat to medium and let it bubble away, mixing now and then, until the liquid is a bit thicker. Should take about 3 to 5 minutes. Switch off the heat when you're done.
04 - Splash some oil in your big pan and heat it so it's shiny and hot. Drop in the ground beef and keep breaking it up as it cooks. Let it get nicely browned all over. Should take 6 to 8 minutes or so.

# Extra Tips:

01 - To keep the taste and crunch, stash each item separately in closed containers in the fridge. They'll stay good for up to 4 days.
02 - Pop your cooled beef mixture in a tightly sealed freezer container. It holds up fine for about 3 months. Let it thaw in the fridge overnight and just warm it up slow before eating.
03 - If your beef mix turns a bit too thick in the fridge, just splash in a little water as you reheat. It'll loosen up nicely.
04 - Switch to corn tortillas if you want to skip gluten. And feel free to leave out the cheese and sour cream to avoid dairy.
