This filling one-pot creamy beef pasta takes the stress out of weeknight meals. It's super tasty, quick to throw together, and the whole family will want seconds.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 50 grams grated Parmesan
02 - 120 millilitres heavy cream
03 - 450 grams pasta (rotini, fusilli, or whatever short pasta you like)
04 - 800 grams crushed tomatoes (grab San Marzano if you can)
05 - 710 millilitres beef broth
06 - 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (if you want a kick)
07 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1 teaspoon salt
09 - 1 tablespoon Italian herbs
10 - 450 grams ground beef (around 90% lean)
11 - 2 garlic cloves, chopped up
12 - 1 onion, chopped
13 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Dish everything up right away and shake the rest of the Parmesan all over the top. The sauce will keep getting a bit thicker after you take it off the heat.
02 - Pull the pot off the heat. Pour in the cream and half the Parmesan. If it's too thick, splash in more broth until you like how it looks. Want it richer? Give it a minute or two on the stove without the lid.
03 - Toss in your uncooked pasta next. Pop the heat down to medium. Pop the lid on and let it bubble for about 10 minutes, maybe a little more, until the noodles are just right. Give it a stir once in a while.
04 - Pour in your canned tomatoes and beef broth next. Stir it up. Crank the heat a little so it simmers nicely.
05 - Add the ground beef to your pot. Sprinkle on the Italian herbs, salt, pepper, and some red pepper flakes if you feel spicy. Break up the meat and cook until it's nicely brown and not pink anymore.
06 - Heat up the oil in a big pot (Dutch oven is perfect) over medium to high heat. Toss in your chopped onion and garlic. Stir every so often. Give it 4–6 minutes till they’re soft and smelling good.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Short pasta like rotini or fusilli is best because it grabs onto the sauce nicely.
02 - Want things to flow? Chop everything before you even turn on the stove.
