In a large bowl, sift the flour. Add the egg, melted butter, and yeast mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.

Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 60–90 minutes until doubled in size.

Peel the apple, remove the core, and cut into small cubes.

Roll the dough to 1 cm thick. Cut into circles, place apple cubes in the center, and wrap dough around the filling. Flatten slightly.

Place shaped doughnuts on a floured surface. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.

Deep-fry the doughnuts in hot oil on both sides until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
