Grate 3 garlic cloves to yield about 1 teaspoon and slice the remaining 3 cloves to yield about 1 tablespoon. In a medium bowl combine shrimp, olive oil, grated garlic, crushed red pepper and 0.25 teaspoon salt. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

In a large skillet over medium heat cook sliced garlic with 1 tablespoon of butter stirring occasionally until garlic begins to brown about 2 minutes.

Increase heat to high. Add shrimp mixture to skillet and cook stirring occasionally until shrimp are opaque about 4 minutes. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Add white wine to the skillet and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook for about 2 minutes until slightly reduced then remove from heat.

Return shrimp to skillet. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, remaining 2 tablespoons butter and remaining 0.5 teaspoon salt. Toss until shrimp are coated. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
