01 - 6 large cloves garlic
02 - 1.25 pounds large peeled and deveined raw shrimp (16 to 20 count)
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper
05 - 0.75 teaspoon kosher salt divided
06 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
07 - 0.33 cup dry white wine
08 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
09 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
10 - 3 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Grate 3 garlic cloves to yield about 1 teaspoon and slice the remaining 3 cloves to yield about 1 tablespoon. In a medium bowl combine shrimp, olive oil, grated garlic, crushed red pepper and 0.25 teaspoon salt. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat cook sliced garlic with 1 tablespoon of butter stirring occasionally until garlic begins to brown about 2 minutes.
03 - Increase heat to high. Add shrimp mixture to skillet and cook stirring occasionally until shrimp are opaque about 4 minutes. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and set aside.
04 - Add white wine to the skillet and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook for about 2 minutes until slightly reduced then remove from heat.
05 - Return shrimp to skillet. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, remaining 2 tablespoons butter and remaining 0.5 teaspoon salt. Toss until shrimp are coated. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
