Pour 240 ml of your barbecue sauce into the slow cooker to get things going.

Mix brown sugar together with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Press the dry rub all over the beef brisket so it’s covered on every side.

Set your brisket inside the slow cooker, close the lid, and cook on low for 7-8 hours until it’s nice and soft.

Lift your brisket out to a board. Give it 10 minutes to chill out, then pull it apart with forks or slice it into thin pieces.

Stack the pulled brisket onto buns. Add pickles, onions, coleslaw, and as much extra barbecue sauce as you want.
