bbq air fryer chicken (Printable Recipe)

Tender chicken thighs get tossed with BBQ sauce and spices, then crisp up fast in the air fryer for a better-for-you meal.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

01 - 80 ml BBQ sauce
02 - Nonstick spray for greasing

→ Seasoning Blend

03 - 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper if you're into heat
04 - 0.5 teaspoon classic table salt
05 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper, ground
06 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
09 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ Chicken

10 - 680 g skinless chicken thighs, boneless

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cover one side of your chicken with half the BBQ sauce, turn it, slap the rest on the other side, and air fry another 2 or 3 minutes till it's 74°C inside.
02 - Let those chicken thighs cook for 7 minutes, flip 'em, and give them 7 more minutes.
03 - Give the air fryer basket a quick spray, then spread your chicken thighs out in just one layer.
04 - Get your spice mix all over every piece of chicken, both sides please.
05 - Mix up smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic and onion powder, salt, black pepper, and that optional dash of cayenne in a little bowl.
06 - Use your sharp knife to cut away extra bits of fat on the chicken thighs.
07 - Heat your air fryer up to 190°C so it's ready for action.
