11 - 3/4 cup canned black beans, drained (half of a 15-ounce can)
12 - 1 can (4 ounces) green chiles
13 - 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro, optional

→ Tacos

14 - Cooking spray or avocado oil
15 - 6 fajita-size (6 inch) flour tortillas
16 - 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, or cheddar/pepper jack

→ Creamy Avocado Dipping Sauce

17 - 1/2 medium avocado
18 - 1/4 cup sour cream or full-fat Greek yogurt
19 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice
20 - 1/4 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
21 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
22 - 2 tablespoons water, plus more if needed

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Blend avocado, sour cream, citrus juice, cilantro, salt, and water until smooth. Adjust consistency and seasoning, then refrigerate until serving.
02 - Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey, half the seasoning blend, and onion. Cook 4–5 minutes, stirring and breaking meat into small pieces until browned.
03 - Stir in black beans, green chiles, remaining seasoning, water, and cilantro. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most liquid evaporates. Remove from heat.
04 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly oil or spray a baking sheet. Place tortillas on sheet, sprinkle each with 1/4 cup cheese, and spoon filling onto one half of each tortilla.
05 - Bake 1–2 minutes until cheese melts. Fold tortillas in half, brush tops with oil, and bake 10–12 minutes more until golden and crispy.
06 - Transfer tacos to plates and serve with avocado dipping sauce on the side.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Make the avocado sauce first so flavors can meld while you prepare the tacos.
02 - Use ripe avocados for a smoother dipping sauce.
03 - Flour tortillas crisp better than corn tortillas when baked.
04 - For reheating, use an oven or air fryer at 400°F to restore crispiness.
