Wash the strawberries under cold water, pat them dry, and slice into thin rounds approximately ¼ inch thick.

Slice fresh mozzarella into rounds if using a larger piece, or drain mozzarella balls and pat them dry to remove excess moisture.

On a serving platter, alternate layers of sliced strawberries and mozzarella. Arrange in a visually appealing manner, such as circles or rows.

Drizzle the layers with balsamic reduction. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves, a drizzle of olive oil, freshly cracked black pepper, and a pinch of sea salt.
