Pat salmon filets dry with paper towels to ensure proper searing. Drizzle 1 tablespoon avocado oil over each filet and coat evenly with hands or brush.

Sprinkle blackened seasoning evenly over the oiled side of the filets. Let rest at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes for better adhesion and even cooking.

Place a large cast iron or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the remaining avocado oil and allow it to shimmer before adding the salmon.

Carefully place salmon filets seasoned-side down into the hot skillet. Cook undisturbed for 2 to 3 minutes until a crust forms and the filets release easily.

Gently turn the filets and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes with a fork. Serve hot with lime wedges and parsley.
