Shrimp in a buttery garlic cream sauce, ready in 15 minutes. Elegant, fast, and full of flavor.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ For the shrimp

01 - 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste
04 - 1 tbsp olive oil

→ For the sauce

05 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
08 - 1/3 cup chicken broth or dry white wine
09 - 3/4 cup heavy cream
10 - 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
12 - 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
13 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook in batches without crowding the pan. Let them sear undisturbed for 1 minute, then flip and cook until pink and C-shaped. Transfer to a plate.
02 - Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring constantly until the garlic is soft and fragrant but not browned.
03 - Pour in chicken broth or wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it reduce slightly, then slowly add heavy cream while stirring. Gradually sprinkle in Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth. Add lemon juice and Italian seasoning, and simmer 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
04 - Return shrimp and any accumulated juices to the pan. Gently toss to coat in sauce and cook for 1–2 minutes more. Adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Shrimp should be thoroughly dried before cooking to avoid steaming instead of searing.
02 - Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
03 - The sauce continues to thicken off heat, so stop cooking when it lightly coats a spoon.
04 - Prepare all ingredients in advance; the dish cooks quickly.
