# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
02 - 3/4 cup warm water (105–115°F)
03 - 2 teaspoons sugar
04 - 2 cups all-purpose or bread flour, plus up to 1/3 cup as needed
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for bowl and crust

→ Filling and Topping

08 - 1 tablespoon butter, melted
09 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
10 - 3 tablespoons pizza sauce, plus more for serving
11 - 8 slices salami
12 - 8 slices provolone cheese
13 - 8 slices large deli pepperoni
14 - 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
15 - 1 egg, whisked with 1 tablespoon water
16 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
17 - 1 tablespoon dried parsley, optional

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Combine yeast, warm water, and sugar in a bowl. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour, salt, garlic powder, and olive oil. Knead until smooth, adding flour if needed. Let rise until doubled.
02 - Roll out dough into a 10x16-inch rectangle. Leave a 3-inch gap on one long side and 1-inch border around others.
03 - Brush surface with melted butter, minced garlic, and pizza sauce.
04 - Layer salami, provolone, pepperoni, and mozzarella over the dough, keeping inside the borders.
05 - Roll tightly from long side toward the 3-inch gap. Tuck ends underneath to seal.
06 - Place seam-side down. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.
07 - Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Cool slightly before slicing.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Use low-moisture mozzarella for best melt and texture.
02 - Homemade dough provides a sturdier base for heavy fillings.
03 - Let dough rise in a warm environment like a preheated oven or warm microwave.
04 - Stromboli can be made ahead, refrigerated, or frozen before baking.
