Place the cold cooked rice in a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to gently separate and loosen the grains. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon salt evenly over the rice and mix well using a spoon.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute until crisp and golden, taking care not to burn it.

Add the prepared rice to the skillet. Stir thoroughly to combine the garlic and oil with the rice, cooking for about 2 minutes while evenly coating the grains.

Reduce the heat if necessary to prevent sticking. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and white pepper over the rice. Continue stirring for 1 to 2 minutes until the seasoning is well distributed.
