If using chicken breasts, fillet each piece into two thinner sections. Place the chicken into the marinade, ensuring it is fully covered. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to 8 hours in the refrigerator, turning occasionally.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Transfer marinated chicken to the skillet and cook on each side until browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes per side depending on the size of the pieces. Cook in batches to prevent overcrowding. Discard the excess marinade.
