# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
03 - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
04 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
05 - 1 tsp salt
06 - 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
07 - 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
08 - 1 tbsp unsalted butter
09 - 1 tbsp canola oil (or any light oil)
10 - 1 tbsp green onions, sliced (for garnish)

→ Honey Butter Sauce

11 - 5 tbsps butter, room temperature
12 - 1/2 cup honey
13 - 1 tbsp soy sauce
14 - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
15 - 1/4 tsp salt
16 - 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and ground black pepper. Add chicken pieces and mix until thoroughly coated.
02 - Heat butter and oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add chicken in a single layer, shaking off excess flour. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
03 - Reduce heat to low and add remaining butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the sauce reaches a smooth caramel-like thickness.
04 - Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and coat it evenly in the sauce. Turn off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
05 - Transfer the chicken to a serving platter and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve with white rice and sautéed green beans.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Leave space between pieces of chicken in the pan for maximum crispiness.
