Banana Bread Classic (Printable Recipe)

Moist, buttery loaf with creamy banana bits and vanilla. Super simple to whip up for that timeless, cozy taste everyone loves.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Batter

01 - 190 grams plain flour
02 - 1 pinch salt
03 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla
05 - 1 large egg, lightly beaten
06 - 200 grams white sugar
07 - 115 grams melted butter (unsalted)
08 - 3 really ripe bananas, smashed up

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Leave the bread in the pan to cool for about 10 minutes. Then move it to a rack to chill out all the way before slicing up.
02 - Stick it in the oven for about an hour. When a toothpick poked in comes out clear, you're good.
03 - Pour in the batter and use a spatula to even out the top.
04 - Toss in the flour, then add salt and baking soda. Gently mix. Don’t work it too hard or your bread gets tough.
05 - Now throw in the sugar, the beaten egg, and that splash of vanilla. Give it all a quick stir so it’s nice and blended.
06 - Mash up those bananas in a bowl until they’re really smooth. Melt the butter then mix it in.
07 - Set your oven to 175°C. Smear some butter or spray into a pan that's about 23 by 13 cm.

# Extra Tips:

01 - You’ll get the richest taste if your bananas have plenty of brown spots.
