Crock-Pot Corn Chowder (Printable Recipe)

Enjoy a comforting blend of sweet corn and vegetables simmered slowly for a velvety, hearty chowder.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Produce

01 - 6 ears of corn, kernels sliced off
02 - 1 spud, diced small
03 - 3 sticks celery, chopped up
04 - 1 big onion, chopped fine

→ Liquid

05 - 355 ml of evaporated milk
06 - 950 ml broth from chicken

→ Herbs and Seasoning

07 - Dash of pepper and salt, as you like
08 - A single bay leaf
09 - Three sprigs fresh thyme

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Before you dish it up, fish out the thyme and bay leaf. Enjoy it piping hot.
02 - Let it do its thing on low for about 6 hours so the veggies soften up nicely. Lid on.
03 - Splash in both the chicken broth and evaporated milk, then toss in thyme, bay leaf, salt, and a bit of pepper.
04 - Drop your corn, potato, celery, and onion at the bottom of the slow cooker.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Want it thicker? You can blend up some of the soup first. Makes it a lot creamier.
