Spicy Baked Feta (Printable Recipe)

Spicy baked feta with veggies and herbs is perfect as a side or appetizer for gatherings.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 250 g Greek feta cheese
02 - 1 medium tomato, sliced
03 - 1/2 red onion, sliced
04 - 1/2 green bell pepper or Italian pepper, sliced
05 - 1 handful Kalamata black olives

→ Seasoning & Oil

06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1 teaspoon chilli flakes, or to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste
09 - Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Place a large sheet of tin foil on a small baking dish. Ensure it’s large enough to cover the dish after assembly.
02 - Arrange the sliced tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, and Kalamata olives on the foil. Season with black pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
03 - Place the feta cheese block on top of the vegetables. Sprinkle with oregano, chilli flakes, black pepper, and a final drizzle of olive oil.
04 - Fold the foil over to seal the ingredients. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (430°F) for 10 minutes.
05 - Uncover the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes to allow the feta to brown slightly.

01 - For a vegan alternative, substitute the feta with a plant-based feta cheese such as Violife Greek White Block.
