Crispy Cod Parmesan (Printable Recipe)

Cod gets coated in parmesan and panko, then tossed into the air fryer for a crunchy golden outside and savory flavor.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Fish

01 - 600 g cod, no skin, sliced into 150 g chunks

→ Crust

02 - 50 g panko crumbs
03 - 100 g Parmesan, grated fresh

→ Seasonings

04 - A squeeze from 2 tablespoons of lemon
05 - A dash of paprika
06 - Cracked black pepper, as much as you like
07 - Salt, add to your taste

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Once the cod is cooked through, take it out and lay the pieces on paper towels for a minute. Plate them up hot, and if you want, pair with whatever side dish or salad you like.
02 - Lay the breaded fish in the air fryer basket, making sure they don't crowd each other. Let them cook about 10–12 minutes. You're looking for a crunchy golden outside and flaky inside.
03 - Turn the air fryer to 200°C and let it run for 5 minutes so it gets nice and hot before you put the fish in.
04 - Dip each cod chunk into the lemon juice so it's damp. Press it all around in the cheesy breadcrumb mix so the crust sticks on well.
05 - Dump the panko, grated cheese, salt, pepper, and a hit of paprika in a bowl. Give it all a good stir so it looks even.
06 - Give the cod pieces a quick rinse with cold water, then dry them off carefully with paper towel. Chop them into 150 g pieces so they cook at the same speed.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Grab a block of Parmesan and grate it yourself if you can. The bagged stuff's wetter and your crust might end up kind of soggy.
02 - Don't cram the fish in—leave a bit of space so the hot air can get all around and brown the crust properly.
