Pear Tea Sandwiches (Printable Recipe)

Crisp pears and creamy spread make these light, flavorful sandwiches perfect for brunch or gatherings.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3/4 cup honey-pecan cream cheese
02 - 8 slices cinnamon-raisin bread, lightly toasted
03 - 2 tablespoons very finely chopped pecans
04 - 2 ripe pears, cored and thinly sliced, patted dry
05 - 1 cup alfalfa sprouts
06 - 2 tablespoons honey

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Spread 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of cream cheese over one side of each slice of bread.
02 - Evenly divide and sprinkle the chopped pecans over the cream cheese on 4 slices of bread.
03 - Top each of the 4 bread slices with sliced pears, alfalfa sprouts, and a drizzle of honey.
04 - Place the remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down, on top and cut into squares or triangles.

# Extra Tips:

01 - If honey-pecan cream cheese is unavailable, use plain whipped cream cheese mixed with honey and finely chopped pecans.
02 - Use ripe but firm pears like Bosc or Bartlett; avoid canned pears as they are too soft.
03 - To prevent sogginess, pat pear slices dry and spread cream cheese on both slices to form a moisture barrier.
04 - Use a sharp Chef’s knife and clean it between cuts for neat sandwich edges.
